Where is The Serial Number on My Furnace or Boiler Located
The serial number is listed on the appliance rating plate (which is usually a sticker) inside the furnace cabinet. The rating plate may be located inside either the top or bottom section, on the left, right, back panel. It may also be located on the back of either of the furnace door panels.

Boilers 2019 and later. There are 2 types of serials numbers. One type contains a letter and the other, doesn’t.

Example: 3260043C9223930000004 The year would be 2022, and the 393rd day of that year.
2. Serial Number contains no letter? The 3rd and 4th number represent the month, the 5th and 6th, the day, and the 7th and 8th, the year.
Example: 2410222348154755 The year would be 2023, The 10th month, and 22nd day.
Also, For NTI Trin & Stor Indirect Water Tanks, the Year is the first 2 digits in the Serial number.
